In a little over a decade since their founding, the British alternative goth rockers led by guitarist and singer Robert Smith rose from the independent circuit to the top of the charts. Disintegration was their biggest hit at that point of their career, going to #3 in the UK and having singles go to #1 on the Modern Rock chart and #2 on the Pop charts. To support the album, the band
