Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a semi circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a date of 1922, overlaid by a ribbed diamond, in turn bearing a cogwheel overlaid by an enameled Technisches Nothilfe (Technical Emergency Help TeNo) insignia, topped by a German national eagle, the reverse with an elongated block hinge
