Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of AFRIKA executed in a correct pattern with black letters, unmarked, measuring 33 mm (w) x 415 mm (l), demonstrating a small patch of mothing to one end, a scarce example issued to Luftwaffe personnel in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
